Ja ten Telecom vazne nechapu...
Quick je jednoznacne nejhorsi dial up "free" sluzba pripojeni k Internetu.
Je mi lito MacOS uzivatelu i kdyz verim ze se to tyka minimum lidi, jelikoz i z vlastni zkusenosti vim, ze pokud mate Maca, tak je to vetsinou ve firme, ktera stejne "jede" pres pevnou linku ci mikrovlnku. Nicmene ten problem vubec nezlehcuju a je dobre ze se na to upozornuje.
Moje zkusenosti s Quickem v kombinaci s ISDN.
1. zahranicni konektivita nejhorsi: z nepochopitelnych duvodu to vzdy minimalne 1x denne prestane najednou otevirat vsechny stranky umistene na zahranicnich servrech. Ceske jedou v pohode. Zavesite a uz se znova ani za boha neprovolate. Dalsi sluzby WOL, volny a Centrum pritom jedou v pohode vcetne neporusene zahranicni konektivita, Zaver? Ostuda!
2. Caste padani linky od niceho nic je uz prilis ohrabanym tematem. Paradoxni zde jsou pokusy HelpDesku pomoct uzivatelu. Zprvu vubec nereagovali na maily, tak jsem zkusil napsat jednomu z nejvyssich manageru a sup po nekolika dnech se mi ozval Helpdesk Quicku a to asi 4x behem jednoho dne!! Ze by nahoda? Jak jsem se pozdeji dozvedel od zasveceneho, Nikoliv!
Podle me chyba ani neni tak na strane nej nebo primeho managemntu zodpovedny za sluzbu, ale proste v mizernym nakladanim s prostredky urcene na rozjezd sluzby a jeji udrzbu.
Kazdy mi tady rekne at prejdu plne na jinou sluzbu. Ale zatim to bohuzel nejde. Jsem zavislak na online hrani a k tomu zejmena slouzi Gamezone.cz a tak zatim trpim se svym ISDN dal.
Nicmene za par dni uz prijdou nainstalovat kabelovku:D

I met a guy whos dealing with Modem drops
And I asked him for some handy tips

I went down to the Telecom store

No, zpívá si hezky, zpívá. Ale co to plácá, co to plácá. Moje nezapomenutlné maličkost kupodivu používá QUICK dial-up, ISDN, už dlouho, dlouho, dlouho, dlouho.
A funguje to, podstatně lépe než ostatní, nepadá to, spojuje se to (dokonce na 128kbps, což u ostatních jaksi nejde).
Že bych si taky zazpíval?

Jinak zatim jediny pozitivni ohlas na Telecom a jeho quick/ISDN v cele diskuzi. Nevim jak casto se pan Ptacek pripojuje pres svuj ISDN denne a na jak dlouho, ale nemyslim ze casteji nez ma malickost.
Mam nejmodernejsi HW, SW, bydlim ve ctrti kde je cerstva a moderni infrastruktura a presto ISDN linka pada a opdotykam ze pada jen u Quicka. Rad by pan ptacek se dozvedel dalsi podrobnosti?
Rád Měsíčku, rád. Bydlím též ve čtvrtí kde je čerstvá a moderní infrastruktura a ISDN používám velmi aktivě - bez problém třeba 4 a více hodin v jednom kuse.
Ale vím ze zkušeností přátel, že největší problém s ISDN je problém modemů. V mém případě tedy mohu spokojeně zakřičet - nechť žije MICROCOM!
Mam taky Microcom ale rozhodne tu radost s panem Prackem nesdilim.
Osobne poznam kdy jde o modem a kdy jde o linku. Denne jsem na netu cca. 8-12 hodin denne z cehoz 5-6 hodin doma, kde hraju online hry a tudiz vnimam velmi citlive - jako vetsina online hracu - kazde cvaknuti modemu a odpojeni linky.
A nemuze to byt take tim ze Quick je free sluzba a nekdo musi garantovat ze se platici zakaznici pripoji a nemaji obsazeno. Tak to asi musi sejmout Quicka ne?
